| The Emerging Artists Intensive Lab is a yearlong mentorship program designed to nurture 12 young Ugandan emerging artists in theatre and live performance with project-specific support through a residential lab, Tebere Annual production, workshops, Masterclasses, Kampala International Theatre Festival participation and mentorship from industry mentors. The mentees will receive ongoing support from Tebere staff to continue developing the projects they will be working on during the lab by introducing them to other available opportunities and organize with them an online conversation in which they will share their experience. The program is split up into a series of activities with both theory and practical components with the aim of providing a space or environment where artists can dedicate their time to create and develop their works with continuous support from industry mentors as well as the Tebere team.
