I think this is a good idea, for African writers to reinforce each other and provide synergies.
It was good to get an update of what Goretti is doing now. I would like to read one of her latest works so I can begin to understand the direction in which she is going interns of writing.
Hi Timothy,
Thanks for the thumbs up.
“Waiting” is Goretti’s latest novel. I think they have copies at Aristoc & Femrite.
Best wishes
I recently read Goretti’s Whispers from Vera (Monitor Publications 2002). I fell in love with the book back in the day when Daily Monitor used to serialise it on weekends and for a long time i could not get my hands on the book. And when i finally did, it was great. I did not know our African women writers are confortable writing explicitly on sex. It was great. Where can i get her other books here in Kampala, Uganda ? Cheers.
Femrite offices and Aristoc would have the books. Thanks for your comment.
